Is there a supplier in the DFW area?
What does Bentonite cost (in 50# bags)?
I am thinking about trenching my dam and backfilling with bentonite.

I have never heard of using bentonite in that manner. You can read how it is used and get prices from george at: http://www.texassodiumbentonite.com/

Switch, I bought some recently from Midwestern Mud, just North of Decatur. It was about $8.00 per 100 pound bag. It is an oilfield service Co. and they don't do 50 lb. bags. Coring with bentonite has gotta be expensive.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
