I have a small pond. Probably 100 by 30 feet. Now we are in the middle of the drought here in CT. The deepest spot now is around 5ft in the middle. I have, what I think is Cabomba caroliniana, which covers most of the surface, except for aeration spots. Fish seems healthy, eating pellets well. a lot of different sizes of bluegills, some basses.
Should I remove some of it or leave it as is. I will try to attach the pictures.

Pull a strand of the plant out of the pond. Put it in a 9x12 glass baking dish filled with water with white copy paper under the baking dish. Take a good close up picture of the plant in the dish and post it here. We can ID the plant for you.
