I am building a pond that is going to be about 1 1/2 acre and I am trying to decide about which way to do the spillway. I have looked at pouring a concrete spillway and building one with rip rap and installing a 36" pipe. The concrete is, by far, the mist expensive, rip rap is nest and the pipe is the least expensive. Any thought on which would be better,

I have a 6 acre pond with 2 24” corrugated black plastic pipe and have never had a problem
We drive over it to the front gate so that’s why I went that route
