The wife and I and 3 other couples have a trip in june planned. We are headed to Pensacola well on the beach there. One other male and myself have talked about a day of fishing. Does any know of a charter in that area that they have had good luck with? He dosnt want 2 do the deepsea fishing just around the coast. Or if any of ya live in that area I would be happy to pay ya.

RStinger - I lived in the panhandle for 22 years. Moved down the AFSOC and just stayed. Anyhow - I volunteer as the county artificial reef coordinator, in the county East of Pensacola, that's in Escambia. In that role I've been privileged to work with many in the fishing industry down here and highly recommend Capt Chris Phillips. https://hotspotscharters.com/captain-chris-phillips/ https://hotspotscharters.com/captain-chris-phillips/ One other thing you might try depending on weather is Kayak fishing offshore - in the Gulf of Mexico. Quite fun and a great experience.

We will be flying in there. So is there places to rent the kayaks? I'm sure there is I just have never been there. Thank you very much for the idea. I will check out both options for sure.

A friend of mine just bought a 4 piece packable fishing rod and reel so when they fly South he can throw the rod in the suitcase and fish from the surf.

I'm good with the paying the charter service for sure. I check the site and do believe I will get with the other fella and book it. Whatever we end up doing I just hope 4 some good memories and a picture or 2. Thank you very much.
