Will soil floc applied to clay bottoms keep the bottom from silting up when you walk through the water ? I though I seen that someone here did that and did not have the bottom stirred up. I just want to find a good way to keep the water clear.

teehjaeh57 will be along shortly to assist in all of your Soil Floc needs. I don't know personally if Soil Floc will prevent clay from getting stirred up when you walk on it, but I can't imagine that it would.

It might prevent the clay from staying suspended for a long time, if the sf is still bound with the bottom clay. Your best bet would be to sink some geotextile material on top of the clay, then cover the geotextile with gravel and sand a few inches deep, IMO.
