Has any one ever made a floating boom to keep the duck weed in a specific area of your pond ? I was thinking PVC pipe with end caps chained together but I do not know if that will do the trick or not. I would also use it in the fall to direct floating leaves to my drain pipe in the fall. I have seen some booms for sale but was wondering if I could save a few bucks.doing it this way.

You could try it, but since duckweed reproduces by seeds, I doubt you could keep the Duckweed to one area of the pond.
