My neighbor recommended taking a bare box spring and use the metal frame to drag the vegetation from the pond? 1. How to remove it now? 2. is there a better way to manage this so it does not come back next year? Thanks, Craig Attached Images

DIquat will kill it Fluridone @ 45 PPB will kill it You can use a "Weed Razor" to cut it below the surface, then rake out the leaves and stems. Dieing vegetation robs O2 from the water. The fish need someplace to go to for oxygen. Wait about 10 days(guesstimate) between applications. It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color. Without a sense of urgency, Nothing ever gets done.
