Ken here in Southern Indiana. My wife and I bought 10 acres last year that has a pond that is a little over 1.5 acres. Big time learning experience for us. We have never had a pond before. Right now I am trying to get a handle on controlling the algae and not doing well. Some dam work will be done soon that includes extending it and a new overflow pipe.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Nice to have another fellow Hosier on the Forum. Had another forum member visiting our place today and I really enjoyed the visit. We have 3 ponds finished and one under construction. What fun! This forum has bee a wealth of knowledge. Best of luck!
