We have our first perch ribbons on March 30th this year. Last year it was April 3rd.
pulled out 10 today alone.

dono, why do you figure your ribbons come about 2 weeks later than mine near Grand Rapids MI? Are you quite a bit further north?

It shows that he's from Ontario, Canada (eh.), so I'm assuming that's probably why.

Western NY, first perch ribbons spotted March 8th-ish. Very early, and kind of bonkers considering it was ice-out not too much earlier than that. Just warm in that sheltered corner where cattails break up the wind.

Not sure. We are just North of London Ontario.
