My aerator system has worked well most of the winter. However I have has several instances where the lines get blockages. I think its usually trapped ice that migrates up the lines. Early in the winter I swapped out a line and didn't have any issues until 3 months later, and the same line is not blowong air through it.

Does anyone have suggestions or remedies to fix or prevent this. Seems pointless to rub an aerator if the lines constantly get clogged due to moisture freezing. I can pull one line out and replace but my deepest lines are inaccessible.

Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Question: How far below ground are the lines buried, including where they enter the pond?

Ice does not migrate up the line. Instead what's most likely happening is, your pump is sending some condensation down the line that is reducing the pipe area and sometimes freezing.
Do you have the line sloped down hill the whole entire way, or is there a low spot that can collect water? Water in the line would easily restrict flow and once it's frozen, continue to build up till it's blocked.

I have had one line of my 3 lines fail to blow air. It was due to water getting back into the line from seeping past the diffuser. I cycled the aeration on and off daily with a timer. This must have allowed a stuck open check valve to allow water to fill the line. I pulled the diffuser, unhooked it, and at least a gallon of water ran out, maybe two. I have not had that problem since and it has been well over a year.

What diffusers are you running?

Are you sure it's ice?

And, answers to the above questions may help the forum focus in on a definitive problem/solution.

Burried shallow only a few inches down below my gravel driveway. The lines may slope up where they go from the aerator through an L shaped conduit through my patio cement and then to a straight levelish stretch buried under my driveway

The 3/8 line is the main cause. Never had a 1/2"-5/8" or larger line clog/freeze. Go here and get one of the freeze control systems. They work, a customer has them because he is using 3/8" line, some runs are 900 feet. https://www.koenderswatersolutions.com/product_type/aeration-accessories
