2008 to be exact. I made this post https://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=119686&page=1 describing the sale of my property and my pond. Back then I had hoped to one day have the opportunity to own property and another pond. Well, 13 years, an out of state move, and a job change later, my wife and I purchased 7.5 acres and are in the process of moving back "home". Ground was broke on an approximate 2 acre pond at the back of the property, and if all goes well, we'll have then new house and shop built by October. I'm definitely going to be back on here more frequently as it is time to start planning for structure and stocking. You know, the fun stuff where you overanalyze every aspect until you lose sleep at night. LOL

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley Rancher and Farmer Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP

Welcome back and good luck!
