Hi gang I have a Thomas 2660ce32 aerator pump that is currently working with two purple defusers I tried finding the HP rating for this but I was unsuccessful. Any ideas?
It’s over 5 years old and I’m considering a new purchase to have on hand as it freezes here in Idaho so I want one ready if that happens.
I have a manifold I built and I can accommodate more defusers to open more of the ice. My pond when full is over 2 acres but only about 12 feet deep in the deep section and much shallower on the other end. It’s a farm pond has LMB and channel cats. I still get too much pond grass or growth too
I’m looking at new Thomas pumps. At the very least I need to back up this one. I see 3/4 HP pumps but they appear to be too big for my use as they say 30 ft deep.
Any suggestions on a Thomas that will run four purple defusers?
I try to upload pics off of my iPhone but it say file type is blocked. I never used to have this issue Thx for any help

I don't think you want open water other than a small hole depending on your Biological O2 demand.. with LMB and CC you run a risk of super-cooling the water below that 39-40 deg point which will (could) cold-stress your fish. 2 diffusers would require 1.5cfm each at the diffuser but over-size slightly. something capable of 5cfm range at the pump would be good. Loss between pump and diffusers are affected by hose size, length and depth of diffusers.
