Good luck with that Frank. I did find a couple of guys back when everything was shut down due to covid but then they went back to work. I have been looking for migrant farmworker types but no luck there either. But concerned with covid there. If you find someone maybe both of us could provide more work for them. I'll do the same.

It's certainly a nightmare finding good, dependable contractors in rural areas. Difficult even in big cities. But worse out in the country because the pool is smaller. Craiglist is a total crapshoot, some good, many terrible, and some with long criminal records. Earlier this year I had a guy out with a forest mulcher. He didnt tell me until he was half way thru that he ran a country camp for young wayward young men that have drug and other issues. So yeah it's nice he does that kind of thing....but I really don't want a bunch of ex-meth heads working on my property...because some of them will fall off the wagon and maybe come back with bad intentions.

Zep, where I used to work we used to hire a lot of guys from the halfway houses. It doesn't take you very long to learn that while you can get some good guys that way, but most will be going back to their old ways and probably back to jail. I would say most are not the type you want around your place.
