Fall is on us and my water lilies are being pulled up, any idea what would be eating them so badly? Have LMB, CC and BG thanks!

Agreed...Turtles. I have also read about folks having troubles with muskrats tearing up vegetation too.

The water temp here is 52 degrees and I have not seen any turtles in a few weeks, I think they are in the mud now. Would a CC rip up water lilies?

Ducks will pull them up also, especially Mallards but I watched a pair of bluewing teal make short work out of one of my containers with several sprouts about a week ago.

Another vote for Muskrats. No Nutria in Michigan, water is too cold for turtles to be very active.
