Hello everyone
I have a one year old half acre pond in upstate NY. It’s blue clay and spring fed. Have lmb fhm cc stocked.
It is extremely hard to walk in as you sink into the clay. Is there anything I can put down to help people walk in? I have a ladder but some prefer to walk in... Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.
No suggestions for doing it all the way around the pond, but for a beach area, use geotextile fabric (available up to 15' widths), and cover with pea gravel or sand.

Thank you. Sounds good What keeps the materials from sliding down into the deeper water?

You can build a berm from the material in the bottom of the pond before putting down the fabric or use pavers/landscape blocks or cinder blocks to make the berm. Lay the fabric over those and then cover the fabric with the gravel/sand.
