First time building a new pond. In the low end where dam is going to be i dug a test hole to see how deep the clay was and hit water about 6 feet down. Its under about 2 feet of red clay. My question is do I dig down to it or do I leave it covered with the clay. At the other end which is about an acre the water is down about 15 ft. Im guessing thats the water table but not sure what to do with it..any help would be great
