Out of balance ponds can be tough to fish into shape
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Out of balance ponds can be tough to fish into shape That all depends on how big the pond is and how adept you are at catching fish.....

I compare it to driving. To stay in the lane, you must constantly make steering adjustments. If you are paying careful attention, the adjustments don't have to be very big. If not, larger adjustments are necessary. Unfortunately, I'm a better driver than a pond meister.

OK, I’m going to set a trot line just to see what I get. Will give the seine a try if l can find a buddy and a net. Otherwise, I’m just going to keep on fishing and put an automatic feeder on my Christmas list.
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. - Doug Larson
