Saw a thread here about aeration being added to a pond and to gradually ease into it by only running a few hours a day at the start or it could turn your pond over? Can anyone help me

I forgot the initial starting length if it is 15 minutes or 30 minutes; but double every day after
Day 1: 30 minutes Day 2: 1 hour Day 3: 2 Hours Day 4: 4 hours Day 5: 8 hours Day 6: 16 hours Day 7: 24 hours.

Initially start 15 minutes per day. If you can smell the water where the airstation is bring up the water to the surface, if it smells like rotten eggs, keep running it at that run time per day until you can no longer smell it. Then you can start doubling the run time every day, again pausing at that run time if you smell the sulfur smell.
That is Hydrogen Sulfide and can kill fish at very low concentrations - you don't want to mix that with all your pond water too fast.
