Hi everyone, I am considering using some pond dye to help control pond weed, but unsure on a few things. First, will it actually help? Second, I don’t want it to harm the fish population. I have a good population of largemouth and blue gill. I’ve read that the pond dye can disrupt the bottom of the food chain and then in turn hurt the bass. But I also know of people that use it and still have a good amount of fish. Does anyone know what the secret is? Is there a right balance to keep some plants in the shallow ends but prevent the pond weed from taking over? I do have an aerator that runs about 12 hours a day. Thanks!
