I'm thinking of buying a TH feeder and putting it on our island. Would involve a boat to replenish, but has advantage of drawing fish into an area that doesn't get much coverage now. Both LMB and HSB like to cruise the rocky point off the end of the island that eventually drops into deep water. We placed the rocks there originally, along with a fallen tree and even added a couple of PVC structures as well.
Question is, where should I aim the feeder? Off to the side of the point, where CNBG already roam, or directly out on the point? I'd like to fatten the CNBG, of course, but mostly draw them to where they're easy pickings for the large predators.

I honestly think that BG will find any spot in a pond where you are regularly putting feed.
