New Member here.....I am in the process of building my pond and am interested in using Slag Rock for structure. The Slag is a byproduct from the steelmaking process. Can anyone tell me possibly the pros or cons to using this? Does anyone have any experience with using this material in their pond? I found one article online that seemed to point to no issues from using it. Thanks

I have read that it contains contaminates that you probably wouldn’t want in your pond. I personally would not use it anywhere that would run into pond. We use it on our roads on the property. It smells really bad for some months after installing it . Google it
