The last 10 years or so my friend and fishing partner have assisted the landowner in managing his 15-acre bass and bluegill pond. I have kept records of size and numbers of bass. We fertilize the pond and feed the bluegills twice daily, Ph is OK. We have removed all bass we caught under about 14 inches and released all bigger bass. We catch but do not keep very many adult bull bream, but we do keep some. The average size of bass caught has stabilized at about 2-2.5 lb, with few smaller and NONE larger, but the numbers caught have decreased , and it has has been 3-4 years since a bass over 5 lb has been caught. There are a few other people who fish in the pond that we are not aware of and we dont know what their catch and release policies are.
We want to do the best for the pond and would appreciate any advice. Thanks to all who participate in this forum.

How are the relative weights of the bass? How many bass are you taking out each year?
