I need to plant something in my inlet and along the banks to absorb some of the nutrient load running into my 1 acre pond (partial cattle pasture run-off). I'm in southern Oklahoma. What would you use? Pond is 3 years old and has a liner (kind of limits trees along the bank).

Arrowhead, iris, sedges, rushes are my favorites up here in NE, probably other good ones members will chime in shortly.

Arrowhead and Pickerel weed with some rushes as TJ suggested would be my choice as well

In my area, giant burreed and lizards tail are nice as well.
