I have a pile of treated lumber waiting to go. We are sinking a bunch of money into the land and would rather not pay more than necessary for around 10 barrels for my small dock. Any ideas of places that maybe gives used barrels away or sells them for cheap? Thanks
Build it and they will come, whether you want them to or not.

Often times car washes get there suds in plastic barrels.
Craigslist, or similar is a good place to shop for used barrels. Just make sure they did not contain nasty stuff.
State fair type events get their lemonade, BBQ sauce, and such in plastic barrels, but those events will be hard to come by this year.
Water conditioning companies that service factories (cooling water systems) also go through plastic barrels too.
