I have a dog training technical pond with various points on it. If I put catfish and BG in this pond will the catfish dig into my banks/points, islands and make holes or anything like that? We have put a lot of work into making these points and i dont want them to get destroyed.

I doubt it. Cats will take advantage of cavities but I'm not aware of them actually digging.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley Rancher and Farmer Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP

Especially not with channel cats.

Mine never have caused any problems on my banks. They do seem to keep the clay stirred up. If you want the cleanest water I wouldn't go for them. I'm taking mine out this year.

The people who say I can't do it can just sit the @^#% down and watch me. Friends call me Rusto I also subscribe to pond boss mag. http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=504716#Post504716
