Well spring is trying to nose into Michigan, and we all know we have had a strange winter, with temps up and down and here in mid-Michigan snow, no snow, rain and everything in between. We have no snow pack to melt, but on our ponds here is ice yet to melt. My question to the group is this; with the up and down winter have you noticed more FA ? As the edges of my pond are melting I am seeing a LOT more FA than what I would call normal. So, is it just here ? or are we seeing this in the general region? thanks! Just wondering as I wait for all the ice to melt.
half-acre pond, LMB, HBG, BG, GSH and CC ....goal is to have fun fishing. And I subscribe!

I am in northern ky and I have seen more FA on my pond this year than in the past. Yet,at a few other ponds near mine,FA doesn't seem to be much of a problem. I fish and manage these so i'm familiar with them from year to year. And I agree,it's been a strange winter!
