twice in about a month i saw a bass going round and around in some type of death spiral. it happened as soon as i threw the aquamax lmb pellets. i assumed that 2 of them collided and injured one. then today all the bass came running when they heard me drive up and all of a sudden i saw one going round and around again. what the heck is going on? can they collided and knock one another crazy?

I'd guess that's the same fish. Just like with humans, there are things that happen that cause abnormalities. Generally they don't make it long-term (fish).

I've seen mine do the same thing but usually during spawning season.
I guessed that it had a nest in the area and was mad about all the commotion so close.

Is that fish eating? If so it is probably just odd behavior that it may connect with feeding.

To me the fish looks like it just got knocked over the head with a boat paddle. There is no way it can be eating while in doing this. I am almost sure it is from a lick from another fish. I have heard a dolphin can hit a shark in the side and kill them. i just wonder if an underwater collision could be causing this?
