Ric, very interesting article. Bull sharks have been reported as far north as Illinois in the Mississippi. If you watch the Animal Channel, they had a program that said that bull sharks kill more humans than any other species by far. This is because of their ability and williness to go into fresh water where they readily encounter people.
A long time ago, I had a professor that studied bull sharks in Lake Managua, Nicaragua. These sharks spent months in fresh water.

I saw a story this morning on TV about a great white in the shallow water off Cape Cod. The water was clear and the film showed it apparently hunting the shoreline.
