Are YP being farm raised in this country. I know there was a place in Indiana or Ohio raising them a few years ago but they went out of business as far as I can find out. I am trying to get YP established in my ponds but haven't seen much recruitment until this year and am now catching an occasional 3 to 4 inch YP while fishing for BG. Today I was in a large grocery store in the nearest city and they had fresh YP fillets for $9.95 a pound. Never saw that before and I assume they were farm raised because they were all the same size and looked to be from perch about 8 inches long.

Maybe these guys?

Brehm's Perch Farm, West Liberty, OH.

Based on fish washing out my drain pipe during heavy rains, my pond is chuck full of recruits as well. Hoping the SMB are chowing down!

Brehms Perch Farm raises mostly for pond stocking not the food market.
