So, our dear statesman-member, Bing, had some lower back surgery a day or two back.

Turns out, he wasn't getting enough attention during his recovery, so he selfishly goes ahead and spikes a heart attack!!!

Good news is that he's doing well, and recovering with a new stent.

Get well, Bing!!!

I sent him a text but have not heard back.

If I connect with him, I'll get his location details.

Bing,

Don't scare us like this.

Don't let it slow you down.

My crazy brother is about the same age as you are, but he led a far unhealthier life than you probably even ever dreamed about. It took three heart attacks and a multi-bypass several years ago to get him to finally give up his evil ways. At about 75 he quit smoking and drinking, started eating healthy, gave up private piloting, and ...

After his last issues, he became a pain in the a$$ to friends and family regarding healthy living. Since then he works out several days a week at the YMCA, still fishes and hunts, and keeps going like the Energizer Bunny.

Use him for inspiration.

Get well soon.

Ken

Fred, hope for a speedy recovery.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

I got an update from Bing's office.

Bing is in rehab for his lower back surgery and should get home this weekend.

I just got off the phone with Bing.

He's due to be released on Friday morning.

So, in summary, Bing is impatient and likes to get all of his medical issues, both known and unknown, taken care of in one swoop!!!

His family has no history of heart disease, yet his 'widow maker' artery was 100% blocked. He was glad he was in the hospital when it happened, and is glad to be topside!!!
