I guess this is one of those times that my ever advancing age benefits me. I remember when ordering something meant putting a stamp on an envelope that contained an actual paper order form, filled out with a pen, along with a handwritten check as payment. I expected to wait at least 2-3 weeks from the time the mail carrier picked it up at the house, until I received the product(s).

Sometimes I marvel at how much we've forgotten, or simply never knew existed in the first place.

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

You certainly don't, and I know a couple of Phd's that aren't very smart at all. They just went to school a long time.

Just having a healthy discussion here. I think? Cause I know everyone here and respect everyone. I was honked at being gouged by UPS but most definitely not at anyone here.

If anyone took offense at my chest beating it was not meant to be.

BTW where is Cody? I thought he'd come into the ring a little too. grin

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I would think every region is different as far as delivery goes. Just depends what's up in your area.

FedEx, before 10:00 am on ground up in the sticks. USPS, normal mail, and they will drop a package off with a "beware of dog" sign. UPS is usually a day or so late from following tracking. Stuff seems to get hung up a bit getting here. Maybe they think it's not important for overnight delivery, but don't know.

Was at a customers, and a SSR (Solid State Relay) blew up that was outputting to a heater element on an extrusion machine. That thing roached so bad that it back fed 480VAC to the 24VDC control power and blew the controller up as well. Not gonna work being toasted.

Called our rep. and factory next day aired a new controller from PA -via- UPS. I drive 60 miles to meet this delivery, no show. WT? Called back and they found that one was taking the southern tour. They sent out another one, supposed to be here in the morning... Same thing! First one showed up a couple days later, which was RED Overnight, but two days late. Second one showed up the next day, which was also 2 days late.

Didn't need two, but our rep sent me a text saying he is scared as hell of sending this back -via- UPS, so hold it in your office and he will personally pick it up.

Sheesh!!!

You can't make this stuff up:

I sent a box of fish to Utah USPS and they got there a day early. (2 days vs. 3 days) I sent a box to Indiana from Indiana USPS and it's a day late. (2 days instead of 1). Still better than being gouged!

I have a confession to make. I was a troll on a website yesterday. I found a UPS website that is not affiliated with UPS but consists of UPS retirees and employees. I got them so riled up I think there's going to be a riot! I told them I hope they hold onto their jobs and positions as UPS is in for a rough patch. The tread was closed!

I see the teamsters what to cut pensions in half.

Might be a big problem here is you may not have people skills, and doubt I would ever want to meet you again due to the insanity. What, your siblings are in a mental facility, and they cut you loose?

Good info tho, despite the loss of unconscious between posts.
