"Worth" Can depend on a lot of things. No one here I am sure wants to give you a price for said fish as to not say the wrong thing.i
But lets say I did not or could not get any CNBG of that nature and you were the only guy around that had them big boys and you were selling them.
In that case they would be worth more to me of course if I really wanted them.
I also know how much AQ food costs and it's hard to put a price on a fish that you been taking care of and feeding for 2 years... or more.
Plus at that size you wouldn't need a bunch of them as they would quickly start to breed I bet in no time if they all made it ok.
So let say I needed 25 to put in my 1 acre pond to get things going.
I would be willing to give...... hmmm I would be willing to give up to 20 bucks a piece for them if they all looked like these 2... but that's just me that's where I would have to draw the line.
Hope that doesn't offend you, but everyone's pocket book is different....

The only difference between a rut and a Grave is the depth. So get up get out of that rut and get moving!! Time to work!!
Maybe Cecil could shed a little light on the subject of value? What purpose do you envision these fish being used for?

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1) And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1) Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT? PB answer: It depends.
If it's accurate to relate catching a 2lb BG as the equivalent of catching a 12lb LMB, it could get expensive.

Time is money and a lot of 4-6 yr old BG are not that big. You are buying time and genetics. I put their value at $25-$50ea; some may be willing to pay more. They may be near the end of their life spans. It would be educational to see how much longer they will live.

Thanks you all so much for your input. I sold them way to cheap. But I have replicated this in another pond and I hope to have more like this in the future.
