No problem buddy, was just in a ventin mood. Since I don't work anymore I'm sometimes a bit testy in the am. Also changing the subject ta killin tree rats certainly cheered me up. Just yesterday I checked the scoping of my Springfield that I bought in 1968. Had ta do three clicks to the rt and two down. Decided I'm not gonna let the maid dust my guns anymore. Good thing ya don't need ta worry about odor while squirrel huntin cause I have ta use about a bottle of insect repellent with the skeeters this yr.
What is your opinion that maybe the Mountain Lions and/or Big Foot (bipedal) have put squirrels on the endangered list?

Happy huntin, Bob-O

I'm with Bob, keep those highfalutin words in the dictionary where they belong, hominid!

And so the cauldron admonishes the crucible for its atramentous countenance. Tragic!

Bob I can't speak to the mountain lion issue, but it's fairly well known among bigfoot researchers that pancakes, rather than squirrel, are at the top of their list of favorite foods. grin

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

I wasn't aware the males lions did squat let alone hunt for their own food. LOL From what I've seen on the nature shows the females do everything while the male just lays around.

Funny post Zep!

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

In the last seven years we have had 3 mountain lion sightings at the ranch. All three sightings were within 1/2 mile of each other and in all three sights the animal was within 30 yards of us(Very Unusual).

The first one was just at sun rise I was answering the call of nature and stopped dead in my tracks coming out the door as he was on top of the coral fence above our bird cleaning station. He quickly and silently disappeared before I could alert my friends.

The second time my cousin was driving down one of the ranch roads and one ran across the road in front of him.

Third time my cousin was outside his vehicle(waiting on our pasture leaser) watching some mule deer when out of the corner of his eye he caught movement traveling down the other side of the fence. Apparently it was tracking the deer.....he never saw my cousin or the truck.

Boys, that presentation was at Pond Boss V in 2012 at Big Cedar, presented by Dr. John Jenks, from SDSU. I've gone back through all my conference info and his presentation isn't in my archives. That usually means the speaker didn't want his/her work to leave the safe confines of their hands... I don't have it.

Tbar if you got'em that means I must have them too,
cause I think we're less than 10 miles apart. I bet the
hogs and mountain lion don't get along very well.

Gotcha.
A buddy says he saw a lot of them at a deer lease near Muenster.
Do you think there are any in VZ County?
