Just thinking ahead, soon our lake will have a visibility of 18" + or - due to fertilization. What bait types and especially what colors might be good for LMB in the green water?
Have you had experience with this?

Always have had really good luck with a white spinner baits with gold blades in green or dark waters. White spinner bait. Cheers Don.

Have you had experience with this? Thanks "If it ain't cbartreause - it ain't no use"! Very good color for stained/off color water. I would be chunkin' a big rattle trap right now for pre-spawn LMB - but that's just if I wasn't fly fishing. Yep

Also do a google search for the May 2007 issue of Field and Stream.
There is a flowchart based on water clarity, sky brightness, forage, cover, and barometric pressure. It is very helpful and full of explainations.
