I have a 1/3 HP regenerative (spelling) that is used very little I used when I had a bait shop. It put out a crap load of air but I think at 10 psi max, My bait tanks were 4 feet deep max and I had to vent most air outside. I was planning on selling on E bay , I am at work and cant remember brand, I know this might not be enough information. Can anyone tell me if this would work. It would have to be piped 200 yards to pond. I bought it at NABATAC in Claremore Ok. Thanks Dale K

Double check the specs. It's probably more like 1.5 psi.
Regenerative blowers are high volume, low pressure, rated in inches of water for pressure and of course CFM.
I looked up a 1/3hp Gast regen and it was rated for 40" H2O for maximum pressure.
They will move a lot of air, but at 200 yards, what would be the output? I don't know.
Maybe Bill Cody will chime in and shed some light.

Yes as JKB says double check the normal operating psi. Normally it is relatively low for blowers. They are great for what you were using it for - tank aeration. You should be able to sell it for good money to a fish farm, aquaponics place or place with many fish tanks and then use the money to get a proper compressor for your pond.

I had quite a few New Spencer Vortex regens I bought from a surplus company in Chicago for peanuts. 1/2 hp rigs that were really nice. Motors were 3 phase, but not entirely compatible with VFD's. I sold most of them on ebay to a fish farm in Texas. The gal bought two of them, then a few weeks later bought 4 more. A guy in south Chicago bought a couple for sump aeration on his CNC machining centers. I delivered them along with a 3 ton chiller he bought. I could shoot myself for selling that chiller. Brand new in the crate. I had $400.00 into it and that included shipping from Boston. Sold it for a chunk, but wish I kept it. When I listed the blowers, I just had a general listing, then added Aquaculture to the listing, and they came out of the wood work! That gal in Texas was not going to be outbid! That's when auctions were fun.
