Pat and Rainman, i checked some statistics and in Florida only 26 people were killed by gators in the last 50 years. These numbers mean that dogs were responsible for much more fatalities than gators  . I guess i am safe , hehe. Fatih, existing in close proximity to Rainman is far more likely to be dangerous to your health than any alligator. It makes me a little nervous from time to time that he's in the same time zone as I. That was just harsh!!!! One large explosion in central Missouri,, a slightly smaller one in northern Arkansas, a couple holes in a PVC pipe that improved flow capacity in Lincoln Nebraska, a few ruts near ponds (multiple states), a SMALL hole in Cody's Ohio home and a slightly skinned up Tennessee tree, and that makes me a danger?!?!?!? Okay...I concede your point, but it's still harsh! Hell, I didn't know open season was on REX

Fatih, you need to reconsider your trip. Come to Texas first and then consider which of the lesser States that you want to visit.

Fatih, If you go to Texas first, be sure to keep some of the fish ya catch. You can use them for bait when yer Muskie fishin up North!  Just joking, please keep us up to date as you travel. If you are coming within a few hours of me, I know I'll make an effort to come meet you and maybe wet a line.

Hell, I didn't know open season was on REX Nothing against Rex, just trying to avoid a Regretable International Incident with one of our NATO allies.....I don't think the Turkish Consulate would take too kindly to reports that one of their nationals had been vaporized while visiting the Amercan midwest.

Well Fatih, I have a surprise for you. I waited till esshup responded to a PM, and he is in!! Looks like we will be playing on Lake Michigan, full day charter out of West Michigan, and I'm scoping out Captains at the moment, and it should be an event. Esshup said he could probably get another person for the 4 person outing, but one slot may be open, if not, for about $200.00 for others to join. I have your costs covered.

Yolk ,hehe. I am still working on my route. Thanks a lot for the offer. Rainman , i have been reading some safety instructions to not become amputated by a gator. Dave i guess i am gonna do it. I assume that all the guys insisted me to be in Texas were actually inviting me over  . Or am i too optimistic? Haha. Bill D. , i am about to lose my mind. I have been invited from at least 10 states. I don't want to miss the opportunity to meet any of you and cast any of your ponds, but i don't have all the time i need. You can head to Bowie Texas anytime. We've gotten some moisture there but not even close to being enough to make a difference.
It's been misting and sprinkling here but, other than making for a kinda gloomy day, only got 1/10 inch in the gauge.

If you are coming within a few hours of me, I know I'll make an effort to come meet you and maybe wet a line. Bill, How big of an ice auger do you need in June to be able to fish? Or do you just get on the icebreaker and head out to open water? I could see if you were talking about late August, then maybe you could safely use your boat before the lakes refreezes.

orgeranyc, that would be so great. Thank you so much for the offer. I didn't know how to get out of the airport to rent a car. And i would actually love to go on a striped bass fishing trip. That would be so awesome. If you can PM me your contact info, i will soon be bothering you . Checking the prices at Ozone. Brian, a friend told me you Texas guys and Northern guys pick on each other all the time. So i guess this was a part of it .
