Fishm-n: I pulled up their website and didn't see anything related to scuds. Can you guide me on where to look?

Scuds as related to fly fishing.

Scuds, all about scuds

Talks about tying flys, but also has some physical descriptions.

Scuds for sale Know nothing of this place. Just found it with a search and it had some more information so thought I would post it.

I had a customer tell me you guys were talking about scuds and to help with any questions you might have.

Here is the link to more information and pricing. You can order them by the gallon (20,000+ shrimp) or in smaller packages.

Let me know if you have any questions or email me directly.

Thanks!

Scuds and shrimp names are used interchangeably. Laymen often call amphipod scuds as fresh water shrimp. They are definitely different critters with distinctly different body features and habits. Both are crustaceans. Scuds are in the taxonomic order Amphipoda and grass or glass shrimp are in the taxonomic order Decapoda and closely related to and similar to miniture crayfish.
