I saw hundreds of them while fishing Mozingo lake in NW Missouri this weekend, they were anchored on the stems of millfoil. The numbers of them present all over the the lake was impressive.

Bryozoans have several different varieties. Thanks for posting pictures of ones you found. Very interesting.

No problem Bill, I have never really noticed them before around here, I was really surprised how many them we saw this weekend. In one little 30 ft diameter patch of milfoil we counted almost 30 of them. From the The Missouri Department of Conservation.
