We are in Ontario Canada. My wife and I would like to plant some plants on our waterfall. We have some nice large areas on the falls that the water pools on the falls before it flows slowly off.
Any idea of a plant we could plant in these areas that would flower and add some colour to the waterfall? Something that likes to be wet all the time but not an underwater plant. Like some type of a bog plant.
Cheers Don.

Try native blue water iris Iris versicolor. They do not spread fast and do not grow tall. They will grow in wet gravel without soil. Some dwarf water lilies will bloom most of the summer.
