You didn't seem insensitive at all. I'm trying to maintain a sense of humor about it, but it's very frustrating.

I've never had a rain anything like this is nine years. Overall the rain in the last 36 hours has exceeded my total summer rainfall for two of the last three years. Of course it's still spring.

My neighbor downstream has a full river flowing through his back yard. Maybe he'll turn me in for sending rainwater down a waterway...

Here's an image of the disgusting monster that won't go away. It has morphed into various weird shapes for almost two days now.

i've been wondering how some of you are faring under that thing.

we are at about 40-50% of normal....could be a drought year depending on what we get between now and June....nothing wet is in the next two week forecast. pond is holding really well though, i am proud of her.

This is a really rare type of storm for around here, because we're actually getting Pacific moisture pulled up underneath this massive low. Usually we just get Gulf moisture, but in this thing we're getting both. UG-LEE!

Seems to me if your pond wasn't there, there would be a lot more water flowing that way due to the ravine your pond is in, but with the pond there is at least a dam. My property used to have a bad wash out before I put in the pond.

I was in a similar weather phenomenom once. I was camped out in Massachusetts in a tent. It rained for days and the system produced an all time record of 18.5 inches in week. I got concerned when a stream becan to flow under my tent! Didn't get much fishing in on that trip. First time camping out in years and that's what happened.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I'm not sure of the percentage, we have seen over 6 inches the past week. 4 of that was in the past 36 hours. We have another large storm heading our way tonight. Another 1 to 2 inches with it, and more rain chances thru Friday. Its nice to know that my spillway works.

We've had more rain in the last couple of months than we've gotten last year. One of them was a 6 inch day. This has broken an 8 year drought. James Holt won't need his $56,000 well. UNBELIEVABLE!

Bring it on.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Dave, send some of your rain to N.E. Texas.
Cooper Lake is still about 8 ft low and our main pond has not "flushed" in four years.

1/4 acre pond has naver filled since construction three years ago, with three ft to go.

Send us rain please....
