I would like to renew my subscription to Pond Boss magazine. I set up an account and added a renewal to my cart, I was about to complete the process by adding my credit card info but I didn't see any indication that my info was secure, is it?

When I just tried it from my phone it it locked the address bars and added the https to it.. Which I my opinion would mean yes it goes to a secure site.. You can wait for someone that knows for sure, but that S after the http is what I always look for before adding payment info..

I hope that I get some indication that the subscription is going to need a renewal. I do not want to miss any of the Perch special comming up.

Cheers Don.

Yep.

The https means that there's a secure socket layer, which encrypts the data as it's transmitted. That should be on every online cart when the order is actually being processed. It may not be there when you add items to a cart, but it should be there when you start the payment part.

SSL can be hacked, but what you gonna do? Heartbleed got a bunch of sites.

DonoBBD, I am not sure if you get a reminder that your subscription is ending.

Best bet is to all the PB office and make certain.

Why I ask is because I had a hiccup with with my subscription in the fall of last year.

Cheers Don.
