Everyone talking of muddy water, my pond is built with red clay in red clay so it is muddy all the time except for summer months. I thought this was normal in my area everyone complains of muddy water. I believe in leaving it alone. What does everyone think?

I'm not sure you have a choice. If it settles during summer, you have to figure that runoff causes the problem.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
