Ok, question. Obviously fingernail clams are eaten by Redear.

But does anyone know of a place to buy fingernail clams to stock a pond with? I cannot find one at all.

I don't know of any commercial source. Here is a previous thread on them. http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=158752

I am unaware of any commercial sources either. There are commercial sources of the non-native and often considered invasive Asiatic clam. However, if you can source them, the native fingernail clams are a good bet.

Illegal!

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
