OP John Monroe Member J Joined: Jun 2002 Posts: 1,105 East Central Indiana	First of all, in 16 years this is the first leach I have seen in my pond. The leach was on the turtle shell. I pulled it off and couldn't see any damage. Can a leach actually penetrate a turtle shell?

There very common on snappers skin since they like to hang in the mucky nasty areas that leaches like the most.. I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease.. BG. CSBG. LMB. HSB. RES.
