I know a lot will depend on the variables, considering well fed with pellets etc, and good water quality . How much growth from 6-8inch fish stocked in April 2013 to April/May 2014? Midwest area, deep pond , old gravel pit. I am thinking most will go from 6-8inch to 12-14inch and be close to 1-1.5lbs come April/May? By Sept/Oct 2014 be closer to 2-2.5lbs? I found this online and found some info in the archives but wasn't sure how accurate: http://www.bizfunctional.com/wipers/archives/sunshine%20II.htm

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Here is a link to some discussions about growth of HSB. It would be good if others could post pictures of HSB that they know the age of the fish. http://forums.pondboss.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=341520#Post341520
