I am curious if anyone out there has had experience with the aquamats? I was readign about them last night and they sound interesting but a little expensive.

I purchased aquamats and put them in a small pond as a test...they're useless. On paper, it sounds good. Reality is that you have to clean them constantly as they collect silt or whatever and it completely negates their "high tech" surface. Doesn't work any better than throwing in a christmas tree in the long run.
