Temps are supposed to drop 25 to 30 degrees between today and tomorrow after hitting an afternoon high of 70°F.

This morning the forcast said there was a possibility of 60-70 mph straight line winds with gusts of up to 80 mph. Also today was the first day that I've seen F0-F1 tornados in the forcast.....

The strongest part of the frontal system is supposed to hit here mid afternoon. Batten down the hatches boys and girls, it might be a wild ride today!

Yikes......Weather Channel is putting a "Tor-Con" of 9 for some of IL & IN. Watch the skies, guys.

Here in Louisville we have gotten 2" of rain so far today. Now it is supposed to clear and then BIG storms along the lower line of the cold front.
They said that if it becomes sunny now, the storms will be very severe.

Is it really November? Glad to see the rain going into the dry months but we don't need wind gusts to 80 MPH. Get the generators ready.

The hotter the temps today, the greater temp differential and the worse the storms could be.

Definately watching the skies today.

It's quite warm outside with a bit of wind. I was surprised a bit earlier at the warmth and humidity. It's actually kinda stuffy.

I should go hit the garage and continue with my organization efforts. What a mess, but I am seeing some light here shocked laugh

Pop the tool box back on the truck after I move a few more things.

Local weather is mentioning for people to hit the deck!

You can hear the thunder and the news crews are hanging out about 2 miles from here. A few tornado's on the Lake. They just said 15 footers are slamming in, but that's not uncommon for November.

The air is pretty much dead still right now with the heavy stuff less than 10 miles away.

I like storms, but they often get blown out of proportion.

I was anticipating something a bit more.

It just ushered in cold and rain, with no real excitement.

Much better if you are in a tent or camper and a decent storm blows thru.

A few inland tornado's are happening, which are very rare around here. They are calling for people to be underground around my property.

OK, TV is out and I pick up from the tower in Grant, which just had a tornado go thru.

It's south of my Dad, and north of me, but in my sisters back yard. Everyone is doing OK tho.

I think we have a few more rounds to go thru.

I just saw Bruce's fish spark with that last flash, and there maybe a permanent reverse negative image of my bones on my bedroom wall.

Just got back from dropping my deer off to be processed that I shot this morning before the storms hit (different story). Max winds here were 72 MPH during one of the storms. A lot of tree limbs in the yard but everything is ok

This doesn't look too good does it? Don't usually see this many tornado warnings at once. Just had a 65 mph gust.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Our home and my families homes are fine, but just 12 miles away and many subdivisions have been literally demolished from 7 tornadoes.

we had 70 mph wind at our place near canton and have some damage there, but nothing major.

I think seven but the tornado threat is past now according to the radar. Sun is out and now we will have to deal with just wind and dropping temps.

It rolled the St Louis a few hours ago...lots of wind here, but it saved a lot of raking is all. We got lucky.

Wow. Glad to know all who are a little west of us are OK.

From our weather forecasts, they are just telling us to secure our outdoor furniture, expect some power outages due to downed trees and limbs, and expect some flight delays. Thankfully, nothing very serious here except for wind gusts.

Strong wind here. We'll have a lot of branches (some pretty large) to clear off the fences and out of the paths on the property, but that will wait till deer season is over.

The winds are really whipping outside. I was taking a nap and was woke up by the winds shaking the building. If it ain't bolted down, it may not be where it was earlier.
