I thought that was a Omaha rig? Guess you and Sue have more in common than your affinity for pink unmentionables, Josh!

I thought that was a Omaha rig? It takes special skill and a lot of effort to spool a nest behind the reel like that. Sue should be proud! And I know she is. your affinity for pink unmentionables, Josh!

You guys are hilarious!! I did work hard to spool that nest!! It also took mad skill to cast into a tree the same day. I was a student of Condello's that day ~ probably his worst ever!!! BTW....Nothing's wrong with pink!!!

It also took mad skill to cast into a tree the same day. I lost one of TJ's favorite crankbaits into a Richmond Mill tree.

Ah yes, that crankbait my Great Grandfather Matthias Muehlich whittled from balsa wood on the banks of the Platte during a very little known Civil War battle. No special significance, really - it was just old, I guess.

It's really hard to find Balsa trees on the Platte.

Happy Birthday, Sue. May your spinning gear always stay untangled. Re-read this thread again and thankfully I just wished a happy B-Day. Bruce, I thought you said "spinning wheel" . JK Sue .
