Bruce, what is the closest hotel to your house? Something nice with a Applebee's or nice steakhouse bar in walking distance. Maybe we can get a group rate for attendees kind of like a wedding. Thanks

I was delirious from 120 degree heat with humidly for 12 hours yesterday at work. Combine that with coming home and discovering your pond is infested with snails and you get a little cranky. Sorry Bruce and everybody else that read my ramblings.

From the Pond-a-Palooza thread, here it is, cut and pasted for your convenience.

Lodging options:

Close and Cheap:

Days Inn Lincoln
1140 Calvert St Lincoln, NE, 68502 United States, 1-866-573-4235

Quality Inn & Suites
1511 Center Park Rd Lincoln, NE, 68512 United States, 1-866-678-6350

Hampton Inn South Heritage Park
5922 Vandervoort Dr Lincoln, NE, 68516 United States, 1-866-925-8676

Newer hotels, even closer, too:

Candlewood Suites Lincoln [New hotel good reviews]
4100 Pioneer Woods Dr Lincoln, NE, 68506 United States, 1-866-538-9298

Holiday Inn LINCOLN SOUTHWEST [New hotel good reviews]
2500 Tamarin Ridge Rd Lincoln, NE, 68512 United States, 1-866-539-5067

Residence Inn by Marriott [New hotel good reviews]
5865 Boboli Lane, Lincoln, NE, 68516 United States 1-855-239-9485

Downtown Lincoln is closer to airport, and still only a 10-15 minute drive to Bruce. The Cornhusker and Embassy Suites are both solid bets where I used to put up my clients/friends visiting town.

Bruce, just wanted to confirm I will be there. I'm ready for another road trip, and looking forward to it.

I didn't know FIH/Al was going.

I'm going to have to cancel now....

Did I lose the bet that you claimed you grew that Sasquatch beard in, like, 6 months??

The ID pic was dated, right??

George posted proof, but what do I remember?

The ID pic was from 2002, but I looked exactly the same last October. Zumba keeps me young.

I have the green light for that weekend off. If I come what can I expect besides being pushed in the water? My wife and 17 month old daughter Molly would attend too. We will go to Omaha zoo the day before or after. Still undecided. I think I will still have enough vacation for Pond Con XI. Definitely interested in the notorious Condello cage so future stocking can be run by the forum. Need info on bubbles too. I'm thinking Pond Lyfe 1 is what would suit my quater acre pond.

Looks like I'll be there also. If there's anything I can do to help out, please let me know!

"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"

If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?
PB answer: It depends.

It will be great to see you. There will be a couple of experts who know a thing or two about bubbles in attendance. You'll wish you had more time at the zoo. I think it's just amazing.

I have a rampant case of Blair Leaf Pondweed in my pond. It's awesome, but very Canadian, so I would like it eradicated. Need help ASAP!

One day Blair leaf pondweed will invade your pond. It's hard to get rid of and smells a little like sulphur.

Yep! It's a for sure trip. Now time to pick a hotel. I wonder what hotel Bruce, TJ, or Omaha (Josh I believe) would stay in for a night? I perused the list above and could find one with bar and restaurant in list close to Bruce. I'm thinking Holliday Inn. It's has all of this close for $108 per night.
