We limed our lake to buffer the low pH, 5.1 to 5.5 avg, last winter on the ice cover. The results have been favorable with regard to current ph levels of 6.4 to 6.7. But there is a definite brown tint to the water. We expected some color to the water due to the increased productivity in the water column, but the degree has been alarming to some. Any insight into this and we may come to expect down the road. Thanks
